Erin Community Library is located in Centre 2000, the multiuse facility on Boland Drive in Erin. Centre 2000 is home to the community library, Erin District High School, Station Road nursery school, EWAG senior’s day program, Theatre at the Centre, the Erin arena, a dentist’s office and a physiotherapy clinic and gym. You can’t miss the Erin library with its prominent location at the front of the complex – just look for the semi-circle of floor to ceiling windows that flood the library with light. Erin Library serves both the public and students alike, and is the result of an innovative partnership between the County of Wellington Library system and the Upper Grand District School Board.

Hillsburgh Branch Library

From a single shelf in the back of a general store to a bright and accessible building of 3360 square feet, the Hillsburgh Branch Library has grown considerably over the last 80 years. Officially established in 1922, the Hillsburgh Branch Library started with just a few books purchased with the proceeds of a community play. Today, as a branch of the Wellington County Library system, the Hillsburgh Branch provides access to over 145,000 items including books, videos, DVDs, music, books on tape and CDs.
