Since October 2000, ACTS has promoted healthy family and community lifestyles through a broad range of individual and group-oriented services and programs for people of all ages – in a safe, non-threatening environment. The CYC Summer Program gives High School students the chance to do volunteer work that benefits the local environment. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the environment, explore different areas of the watershed and meet new people. In exchange for volunteering participants can receive up to 35 community involvement hours to put towards their 40 hour minimum requirement for graduation. This Summer Program also looks great on your resume and college and university applications!

This program runs throughout the month of July and gives campers knowledge of how the earth works by experiencing nature in unique ways. Activities are adapted to meet the needs of each age group and may include nature hikes, outdoor exercises, environmental studies, swimming, canoeing, mapping, crafts, archery, cookouts just to name a few. Youth can be registered for 1 week sessions or all 4 as activities vary from week to week. We keep our program fun!
